To protect public safety, the intake, evaluation, and determination of eligibility for monitoring must be completed within 45 calendar days of the referral date unless the HPRP approves an extension. If the deadline is not met, the case will be closed as noncompliant and the HPRP will notify the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
